Fuck me recklessly.
Kiss me harder.
Take me again and again…

He and I met under a cloud of clichés.
Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy fucks girl.
Our story was supposed to end right after the orgasms, right after we went our separate ways.

But then we saw each other again…
And neither of us could walk away.

Our rules were simple.
Our passion was scandalous.
Our hearts were supposed to be safe…

But when you find something so all-consuming—something so intoxicating and inescapable, you’ll risk everything you’ve ever had, even if you’re destined to crash and burn.

This is us.
This is our messed up love.
This is turbulence.

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for one helluva of a turbulence filled ride because Whitney G brought her A game on with this highly anticipated read! I've been a huge fan of this author's reads since her Reasonable Doubt series and let me tell you, she can seriously write some of the best asshole-ish heroes you've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Cocky asshole? Check.
Dirty talking hero? Check.
Witty banters? Check.
Super smokin' hot sex? Check.

Ladies, get ready to hold onto your panties as you board onto this flight courtesy of Captain Jake Weston.

What's amazing about this book is literally...everything. The heroine, Gillian was akin to being the black sheep of her family but she was a strong heroine that didn't let her family define who she wanted to be. She clearly has a lot of sass too when it comes to speaking with Jake and I absolutely admired how she demanded respect from a guy like Jake who is used to women fawning over him.

And hot dayum Jake Weston. He's the epitome of a cocky, asshole hero you want to fall in love with. I love how brazen and unapologetic he was, you could tell he was a total no-nonsense guy with the intelligence that spurts out from the things he said. He was a damaged hero but within reasonable reasons and I loved how Gillian was persistent with breaking through his almost impenetrable walls.

From the palpable sexual tension to the forbidden romance between these two, this book was screaming angst on some many levels! Gillian and Jake's relationship was almost toxic at a certain degree, with both of them trying to leave out their emotions in this no-strings attached arrangement but one can only deny their feelings for so long.

Overall, Turbulence proved to be one of Whitney G's best work yet and I can certainly say that this book has been worth the wait. I devoured this book within a day and I simply couldn't put it down even if my life depends on it. There were also surprises dropped along the way that made the story even more intriguing and kept me flipping through the pages.

I really hope we will get an extended epilogue of Gillian and Jake in the future! I'm counting on that, Whitney G *winks*
